This morning on the commute in the Buzz, for some unknown reason CarPlay wouldn’t connect. Tried removing phone and reconnecting however this then appeared to have further consequences.
Speedo stuck at 0 mph
Unable to turn off Infotainment
Infotainment screen unresponsive to touch
Vehicle didn’t register me exiting the vehicle
When I arrived at work the remote locking seemed to close down the screen etc, however on reentry to the Buzz everything seemed to still be stuck in the same situation.
Decided to leave it and head off to work in the hope it will have sorted itself out on my return.
Anyone else had anything similar?
Bluetooth, App connect and Infotainment
Hi , had ID Buzz since October and still learning as first Van and first electric experience ! Loving it so far but not sure about the App and connections. There are two of us driving it and so it seems we can only have one profile for main user and the other has to use a guest profile. However as the Main user I can see through the app when charging is taking place etc but if my wife drives and then puts it on charge neither she or I can see the charging on the app ? The only way is for me to go to the van and log back on as main user ….
Surely whoever is driving should be able to see the charging etc ? We both appear to be logged into the app ok but still can’t change anything so that this works . Am I missing something obvious here? Any help would be appreciated. We can see the charging through our charger app of course when home but when we are out and about and are not together this is going to be a problem.
